Southeast Missouri wide receiver Ryan Flournoy was named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Sunday. A native of Hazelcrest, Illinois, Flournoy finished with an OVC single-game high 256 receiving yards and scored one touchdown on 15 receptions against Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 29. He averaged 17 yards per catch and picked up 58 yards after contact. Flournoy scored his team-high seventh receiving touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Paxton DeLaurent with 3:29 remaining in the first quarter. Flournoy's 256 yards were the second most be any SEMO receiver in a game in program history.
