Marysa Flieg won the women's javelin competition at Illinois State’s Redbird Challenge on April 16 with a distance of 155-3 (47.33m) for her third career event title. The freshman from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, ranks 19th in the NCAA West Region and first in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2022 for javelin.
