Kyle Miller pitched five scoreless innings out of the bullpen en route to picking up two saves in Southeast Missouri’s Ohio Valley Conference opening sweep of SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 25-27). A right-hander from Eureka, Missouri, Miller struck out four and allowed only one hit in three innings during game one. In the series finale, he struck out three and gave up just one hit in two more scoreless innings. For the week, Miller struck out seven, walked two and scattered two hits in five innings. He has allowed only one earned run in 21.2 innings during his first nine relief appearances this season.
