Eric Reed, Jr. averaged 31.5 points in two starts for Southeast Missouri last week. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Reed, Jr. opened the Redhawks final road swing of the season by scoring a career-high 35 points at Tennessee Tech (Feb. 17). He posted his second 30-point performance of the season against the Golden Eagles. Two days later, Reed, Jr. dropped in 28 points to lead the Redhawks to a 92-84 win at Morehead State. For the week, Reed, Jr. shot 46.2 percent (18-of-39) from the field and 44.4 percent (8-of-18) from 3-point range. He also made 86.4 percent (19-of-22) of his free throws and dished out four assists per contest.
