Nicole Humphreys registered a pair of career-bests in the shot put and weight throw this past Saturday (Feb. 5) at the 2022 Don DeNoon Invite hosted by Southern Illinois. Humphreys took fourth in the shot put with a career-best distance of 47-5.25 (14.46m). She then registered a personal-high weight throw mark of 64-11.5 (19.80m). The weight throw distance ranks second all-time in SEMO program history behind Kayla Gutierrez (65-7, 2014) and overtook Anya Tonga (64-7.25, 2020). In 2022, Humphreys leads the Ohio Valley Conference for weight throw and shot put. Her weight throw mark ranks 44th in NCAA Division I.
