Kennedi Watkins led the Redhawks this past week with 26 points (13ppg) and 20 rebounds (10rpg). Watkins almost had a double-double of 13 points and nine rebounds against Tennessee State on Jan. 20. She made her first start since Nov. 30, 2021 and appeared in a personal-high 32 minutes. Watkins shot 4-for-14 from the field. Watkins then registered her first career double-double Jan. 22 at Eastern Illinois, finishing with 13 points with a personal high 11 rebounds and five steals. She shot 3-for-8 from the field and was 7-for-10 at the charity stripe in 32 minutes of court time with two assists. Watkins has scored in double-digits in each of the past four SEMO games.
