Southeast Missouri defensive back Trai Hodges was named the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week Sunday. A native of Rome, Georgia, Hodges had seven solo tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble against Murray State (Nov. 13). Both of his interceptions came in the end zone when the Racers had goal-to-go situations, one coming in the second quarter and the other coming in the fourth. Hodges' forced fumble came on the possession following his second pick. He became the first Redhawk to get two interceptions in a game since 2017 (Omar Pierre-Louis, vs. Tennessee Tech).
