Sophomore Anne-Clara Couturier registered a brace including the game winner in Southeast Missouri women’s soccer home-opening victory over Maryville Sunday at Houck Field. Couturier, a Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada native, scored in the 56th and 72nd minutes of regulation Sunday as SEMO earned its first win of the 2021 season. Couturier, a sophomore transfer from Southeastern (NAIA in Florida), finished with a pair of goals on two shots on net in 45 minutes of action as a second-half substitution in her Redhawks debut.Â
