Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

First baseman Ashley Ellis hit .300 with three home runs, three runs scored and seven RBI to lead Southeast Missouri women's softball to a series sweep of Tennessee Tech March 12-13. Ellis hit a two-run home run in game one of the series before slugging two more homers with two runs scored and five RBI in the series finale. She also boasted a 1.200 slugging percentage running her home run total to five this season and 39 in her career. Ellis was named this week’s Ohio Valley Conference Co-Player of the Week.
