Anya Tonga captured Gold in the weight throw this past week at the 2020 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. Tonga won her third-straight weight throw title with a personal-best distance of 64-7.25 (19.69m). She ranks second overall in SEMO program history for the mark. Tonga also finished sixth in the shot put with 42-1.25 (12.83m). She was named the OVC Female Field Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season at the conclusion of the meet.
