Trey Kellum led Southeast Missouri to two wins last week after posting double figures in the scoring column in back-to-back games. A native of Peoria, Illinois, Kellum began the week by dropping in a career-high 23 points on 8-of-11 field goals and a season-high 7-of-12 free throws in an 84-61 win over Hannibal-LaGrange, Southeast’s final non-conference game of the season. Five days later, he registered his first career double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-60 overtime victory over UT Martin, the Redhawks first Ohio Valley Conference win of the season. Kellum was the difference in overtime against the Skyhawks, scoring six points in the first 3:17 of the final period. He averaged 17 points and 9.5 rebounds, while shooting 50 percent (11-of-22) from the field for the week.Â
