Freshman DQ Nicholas had another strong week for Southeast Missouri. Nicholas averaged 18.5 points, two rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games. He led the Redhawks in scoring twice, pitching in 16 points against Austin Peay (Jan. 16) and 21 points versus Murray State (Jan. 18). Nicholas scored 11 of his points at the free throw line against the Racers and turned in his third 20-plus point performance of the season. For the week, he shot 52.4 percent (11-of-21) from the field and 86.7 percent (13-of-15) at the free throw line.
