Maddie Keller placed fifth overall in the 5K at the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Cross Country Championship Saturday at the SIUE Cross Country Course in Edwardsville, Illinois, as Southeast Missouri women's cross country finished fourth (109 points) as a team. Keller crossed the finish line in a personal-best time of 17:57.3 to earn First-Team All-OVC laurels. Her finish is the best Redhawk women's finish at the Championship since Rebekah Lawson was the runner-up at the 2013 Championship in Morehead, Kentucky. The award also marked the first career All-OVC honor for Keller.
