Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

Sophomore setter Claire Ochs was named the Redhawks Invitational MVP as Southeast won its tournament with three, 3-0 sweeps. Ochs led Southeast with 87 assists this past weekend. She started the tournament with 27 assists and 10 digs against Jackson State before adding 31 assists in the night cap with Western Illinois. Ochs finished out the tournament with 29 assists in the finale with Evansville. Offensively, Ochs had 11 kills over the three matches including five against Jackson State and WIU. She also chipped in 21 digs, four aces and eight total blocks. Offensively, Southeast hit at a .290 clip with Ochs directing the offense at setter.
