Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

Mykaela Arellanes was voted the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament's Most Valuable Player this past weekend as Southeast Missouri softball won the 2019 OVC Tournament Championship. She reached base seven times at the tournament and went 4-for-6 with three runs scored, a double, home run, three walks, a stolen base and five RBI on Saturday. Arellanes was also selected to the All-Tournament Team and was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District 6 Division I Softball Team, chosen by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
