Mackenzie Slee captured the 2019 Midwest Independent Conference Championships vault crown last Friday in Shreveport, Louisiana, with a personal-best score of 9.825 to earn her first career individual event title and First Team MIC All-Conference honors. Slee was also awarded Second Team MIC All-Conference accolades for floor after she registered a 9.800 for 10th overall at the Championships. She was seventh in the all-around competition with a career high 38.425 and had a 9.650 on beam.
