Southeast Missouri first baseman Ashley Ellis hit .417 with two home runs, a double, two runs scored and eight RBI in five games at the Louisiana Tech Invitational. Ellis collected multiple hits and multiple RBI on two occasions in the tournament. She went 2-for-3 with a home run and one run scored in the Redhawks victory over Abilene Christian (Feb. 15). Ellis then knocked in three runs at Lousiana Tech (Feb. 16) and followed that up by going 2-for-3 with a home run, one run scored and four RBI vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (Feb. 16). She leads the Ohio Valley Conference in home runs (4) and RBI (14) so far this season. Ellis also earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Louisiana Tech Invitational.
