Skyler Hogan was named OVC Newcomer of the Week after he led Southeast to three victories last week, including two at the South Alabama Ungar Classic. He averaged 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 48.4 percent (15-of-31) from the field, 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from 3-point range and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free throw line. The redshirt-junior transfer from Embry-Riddle scored in double figures all three contests. He had 12 points and three rebounds in 21 minutes against Quincy (Nov. 12) and followed that up with 14 points and seven rebounds against Jacksonville (Nov. 16). Hogan then ended the week by scoring 15 points, grabbing six rebounds and gathering two blocks in a 21-point win over Chattanooga (Nov. 17). Additionally, he committed only one turnover in 76 minutes of playing time.
