Jonno Engelking, the 2018 OVC Male Co-Field Athlete of the Year and 2018 OVC Outdoor javelin gold medalist, placed third in the javelin on Saturday at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Preliminary at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California, with a mark of 235-1 (71.67m). With the top 12 finish, Engelking has advanced to the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships June 6-9 in Eugene, Oregon.
