Logan Blomquist earned a gold medal and two bronze medals this past weekend at the 2018 OVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Blomquist, the 2017 OVC Outdoor Track & Field Male Freshman of the Year, won the OVC discus title with a toss of 171-4 (52.23m) on Saturday. He also earned bronze in both shot put (55-11.25, 17.05m) and hammer throw (193-11, 59.10m) and added a sixth place finish in javelin with a distance of 168-2 (51.26m).
