Southeast Missouri senior right-handed pitcher Carlos Vega had a busy weekend as he pitched seven full innings on Sunday (Apr. 8). He had seven strikeouts, two walks and no earned runs. Vega had no runs on the day. He has yet to let up a homerun this season. Vega leads the team (and conference) with a 2.01 ERA. He is 5-3 this season and has only allowed nine earned runs.
