Freshman Ledarrius Brewer had a gigantic week averaging 29.5 points per game en route to leading Southeast Missouri to a pair of wins. Brewer began the week by pouring in a career-high 34 points and buried seven 3-pointers in an 80-73 victory over Eastern Illinois (Feb. 15). He shot 11-of-18 from the field and made his first four 3-pointers of the game as the Redhawks finished with a season-high 13 three-pointers made. Two days later, Brewer finished with 25 points, four 3-pointers and hit 11-of-13 free throws, including four in the final 21 seconds as SEMO held off SIUE, 79-74. For the week, Brewer shot 57.1 percent (16-of-28) from the field and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from 3-point range in two starts. His seven 3-pointers made against EIU tied for second-most in a game in the Ohio Valley Conference this year.
