Denzel Mahoney averaged 22 points per game and led Southeast Missouri to two road wins last week. Mahoney shot 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from the field, 63.6 percent (7-of-11) from 3-point range and 88.2 percent (15-of-17) at the free throw line. He also averaged six rebounds per contest. Mahoney began the week by tying an Ohio Valley Conference single-game high 36 points on his 20^th birthday at SIUE (Jan. 18). He shot 9-of-14 from the field, knocked down a season-high five 3-pointers and hit 13-of-15 free throws in 34 minutes against the Cougars. It marked the second time Mahoney scored over 30 points in his career. Mahoney enters the week ranked second in the OVC in scoring with 19.8 points per game.
