Marquis Terry, a transfer from Highland Community College, carried the ball 31 times for 184 yards (5.9 ypc) and two touchdowns as Southeast ended a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season with a 29-10 victory over Eastern Kentucky. It marked the Redhawks first win over the Colonels since 2010 and was only the team's fourth all-time win in 28 contests against EKU. The 31 attempts are currently the eighth-most nationally this season while the 184 rushing yards are the 17th-highest total in the Football Championship Subdivision this year. He scored on a 4-yard run in the second quarter and added his second score on a 1-yard run with 4:52 to play in the game. Terry ranks fifth nationally in total rushing yards (540) and 11th in rushing (108 yards/game) and rushing touchdowns (5).
