Mike Ford had a strong 2017 debut against Football Bowl Subdivision and Big 12 Conference member Kansas. Ford finished with five tackles, a sack, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups in his first start since Oct. 22, 2016. He helped lead a Southeast Missouri defense that forced three turnovers against the Jayhawks.
