Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

A native of Alton, Illinois, Ford made some huge plays to lead a stifling Southeast defense that scored two touchdowns and forced seven turnovers in a 27-24 win over Southern Illinois. He finished with eight tackles (six solo), two interceptions and a TD. Ford returned his first interception 21 yards for a touchdown, giving the Redhawks a 10-0 lead with 8:56 left in the first quarter. He was then fully extended and managed to stay in-bounds along the near sideline on a leaping catch for his other pick in the third quarter. The performance earned him Ohio Valley Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors.
