Junior left-hander Joey Lucchesi was named the Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. Lucchesi recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts in eight innings against Murray State (Apr. 24). He allowed just one run on three hits in that span. A Southeast pitcher has garnered the league's weekly honor in four of the last five weeks.
