In his first season in a Redhawk uniform, Lucchesi pitched his way to the title of OVC Pitcher of the Year... Earned First Team All-OVC honors... Made 15 appearances and made 12 starts... Started the season coming out of the pen and made his first Redhawk start against Eastern Kentucky (3/9)... Finished the season with an OVC best 3.17 ERA and a 7-2 record... Struck out a league-best 93 batters... His 93 strikeouts ranks fifth in the single-season category at Southeast... Finished the regular season with a 7-1 record and 2.87 ERA... Fanned a season-high 13 hitters in back-to-back starts: at Murray State (4/24), vs. Tennessee Tech (5/1)... Combined for three shutouts on the season... Pitched a total of 88.0 innings... Walked only 47 opponents... Held opposing hitters to a league-best .192 batting average... Was named OVC Pitcher of the Week three times on the season... Southeast Scholar-Athlete.

Chabot College
Played two seasons under head coach Steve Friend at Chabot College in Hayward, California... Helped guide his team to a Golden Coast Division Championship in 2013.
