Junior left-handed pitcher Joey Lucchesi was named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday, Mar. 30. Lucchesi pitched seven scoreless innings in his start at SIUE (Mar. 28). He picked up his fourth-straight win of the season in as many starts. Lucchesi fanned 11 total hitters in the game, retiring 12 of the first 13  he faced. He surrendered only two hits in his outing, holding the Cougars to a .091 average. Lucchesi, Brady Wright and Ryan Lenaburg combined on the 10-0 shutout victory as the Redhawks moved to first-place in the OVC standings.
