Freshman Valeriia Kashina put together a perfect 3-0 record at the No. 1 singles position to lead Southeast Missouri to three victories last week. Kashina posted straight-set victories, defeating Western Illinois' Jenna Wallace, 6-3, 6-3, Belmont's Sandra Kancheva, 6-3, 6-4, and Tennessee State's Victoria Haynes, 6-4, 6-1. She also teamed up with Ekaterina Donetckova to go 2-0 in No. 1 doubles. Kashina currently owns a team-high five-match winning streak in singles play.
