Left-hander Mackenzie Hoelting threw a complete game no-hitter to lead Southeast Missouri to a 4-0 victory over Austin Peay (Apr. 8). Hoelting threw the first no-hitter of her career and SEMO’s first this season. She matched a career-high four strikeouts and faced 25 hitters along the way. Only four Governors reached base against Hoelting as her first career win came in no-hit fashion. Hoelting became the third different pitcher to throw a no-hitter in the Ohio Valley Conference this season.
