Senior middle blocker Emily Coon was named the adidas Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Coon, who hails from Imperial, Mo., was unstoppable last weekend. In two matches, she combined for 36 kills; 19 against Murray, 17 against Austin Peay. She hit a season-best .607 against the Racers then set a career-best against the Lady Govs, hitting an impressive .810 (17-of-21). On the weekend as a whole, Coon recorded an exceptional .694 hitting clip. She also tallied six blocks in Friday's match against Murray. This is Coon's second weekly offensive honor after being named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after the first week of the season.
