Senior cornerback Cantrell Andrews had one of the bigger games of his career against Tennessee State on Oct. 5. The Cape Girardeau native recorded seven tackles, including six solo stops. He also recovered a fumble and ran 68 yards for a touchdown to give the Redhawks a 9-7 edge with 9:24 left to play in the second quarter. His 68-yard fumble return for a touchdown was the third-longest in school history. Andrews also ran back his first career kickoff for 39 yards. He is currently tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference with two fumble recoveries this year.
