2015: Participated in all 11 games and started eight...Finished with 27 tackles, including 6.5 for loss...Led the team and tied for seventh in the Ohio Valley Conference with five sacks...Recorded five quarterback hurries and one pass breakup...Blocked a field goal just before halftime vs. UT Martin (11/21)...Had a season-high four tackles on three occasions -- vs. Shorter (9/26), Eastern Kentucky (10/17) and Tennessee Tech (10/31).

2014: Saw action in 10 games and made five starts...Started five of the final six games of the season...Notched 19 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss...Had three quarterback hurries...Posted a season-high four tackles on two occasions, vs. Eastern Illinois (10/18) and Austin Peay (11/15).

2013: Played in the first five games of the season as a true freshman...Finished with three tackles with two solo stops...Recorded 1.5 tackles for a loss of eight yards and assisted on one sack for a loss of six...Recovered his first career fumble vs. UT Martin (9/28)...Had a season-high two tackles at Tennessee State (10/5).

Prep: All-District selection at Christian Academy of Louisville...Played in the Jefferson County East/West All-Star Game...Played for former Louisville and Carolina Panther quarterback Stefan Lefors.

Personal: Born March 5, 1995...Majoring in Political Science...Son of Pete and Angie Popovich...Attended the same high school as Southeast teammate Chad Meredith...His father played football at Kansas in the 1980s.
