Redhawks Host OVC Leader Eastern Illinois
•   Southeast Missouri (12-22, 8-6) hosts Ohio Valley Conference leader Eastern Illinois (21-18, 13-1) in a three-game series this weekend. SEMO and EIU will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday, followed by a 12 p.m., CT single game Sunday.
•   Three of SEMO's final four OVC softball series will be at the Southeast Softball Complex.
•   The Redhawks also host Lindenwood (Apr. 18-19) and Tennessee Tech (May 1-2).Â
Donate Life Games
•   Southeast Missouri's softball team will wear blue and green uniforms for its doubleheader against Eastern Illinois Saturday.
•   SEMO and Mid-America Transplant have partnered to host Donate Life Games in support of organ and tissue donation.
•   The Donate Life Games, held during National Donate Life Month, bring the community together to honor donor heroes, celebrate lives saved and inspire fans to register and give the gift of life.

•   Southeast Missouri won six of its last eight contests.
•   SEMO had a season-long six-game winning streak recently end in its series finale at SIU Edwardsville (4-0) on Apr. 4.
•   The Redhawks won game three of their series at Southern Indiana (Mar. 22), swept their home series vs. Tennessee State (Mar. 28-29) and claimed a series win at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4) during that stretch.
Redhawks Fall to Saint Louis Wednesday
•   The Redhawks dropped a 9-3 decision in midweek action at Saint Louis on Apr. 8.
•   Tied, 3-3, SLU scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to get by Southeast Missouri.
•   SEMO outhit SLU, 9-8, with Aubrie Shore going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double to lead the way. Addy Martinie also finished at 2-for-3 with a double.
•   The Redhawks are 2-3 in midweek games this season.
OVC Update
•   With its series win at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4), Southeast Missouri moved to fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
•   SEMO entered the Easter weekend at sixth in the OVC before passing both SIUE and Southern Indiana for the fourth-place spot.
•   Eastern Illinois (13-1), UT Martin (10-4) and Tennessee Tech (10-5) are ahead of the Redhawks.
•   SEMO hosts OVC leader EIU in a three-game series this weekend (Apr. 11-12).
Affolter on a Roll
•    Left fielder Brittany Affolter is on a seven-game hitting streak heading into this weekend's series vs. Eastern Illinois.
•   Affolter hit .409 (9-for-22) with 12 runs scored, four doubles, a triple, one home run, four RBI. five walks and three stolen bases in that span.
•   She hit .400 in Southeast Missouri's series win at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).Â
•   Affolter hit a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning after SIUE pulled within a run during game two of the Redhawks doubleheader sweep on Apr. 3.
•   It was just her second career home run and first since Apr. 13, 2025 (vs. Morehead State).
•   Affolter raised her batting average from .189 to .250 during her hitting streak.
Getting on Base
•    Kamden Hutton reached base in nine of her 12 plate appearances over three starts at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).Â
•   Hutton got on base in seven of her first eight trips to the plate.
•   For the series, she had four hits, scored five runs and walked five times.
•   Hutton leads the team with a .441 on-base percentage this year and has reached base in six-straight games.
Shore Notches Series-High in Hits
•    Aubrie Shore collected a series-high six hits at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).
•   Shore hit .545 (6-for-11) with a run scored and three RBI in the series.
•   She had three hits in each of the first two games against the Cougars and posted multiple-hits in three of her last four starts.
•   Shore is first on the team with nine multi-hit games this year.
•   She increased her batting average by 54 points from .258 to .312 in her last four games alone.
Redhawks Lead OVC in Fielding Percentage
•   Southeast Missouri leads the Ohio Valley Conference with a .967 fielding percentage.
•   SEMO committed a league low 30 errors through 34 games.
•   The Redhawks went without an error in 15 games this season and did not have an error in five of their last six contests.
Starting Streak
•    Addy Martinie has started 41-consecutive games dating back to the 2025 season.
•   Martinie is the only player who started every game this year.
•   She made 29 of her starts at shortstop.
Undefeated at Home
•    With its series sweep of Tennessee State (Mar. 28-29), Southeast Missouri moved to 5-0 in home games this season.
•   SEMO has won six in a row at home dating back to the 2025 campaign.
Shore Now Seventh in Career RBI
•    Aubrie Shore is now seventh among Southeast Missouri's all-time career leaders in RBI.
•   Shore has 113 RBI and surpassed Kim Palmer (111, 1996-98) for that spot.
•   She ranks second on the team with 13 RBI through 30 starts this season.
Shore Chasing Doubles Record
•    Aubrie Shore is third among Southeast Missouri's all-time career leaders with 42 doubles.
•   She needs six more doubles to break the school's career record of 47 held by Michelle Summers (2005-08).
Scoring Advantage vs. OVC Foes
•    Southeast Missouri is outscoring Ohio Valley Conference opponents, 79-48 (+31), through 14 league games.
•   SEMO has scored the most in the third (19) and sixth (19) innings during OVC play.
•   The Redhawks outscored Tennessee State, 30-7, in a three-game sweep on Mar. 28-29.
Top Two HittersÂ
•   Madison Winkler and Kamden Hutton are hitting .343 and .333, respectively, this season.
•   Winkler (35) and Hutton (28) have combined for 63 of SEMO's hits this season.
