EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Southeast Missouri tennis team will continue its fall slate traveling to Evansville, Indiana and competing in the OVC Fall Invitational hosted by the University of Southern Indiana.
The Redhawks will compete in three flights, with the winner of the "A Flight" receiving an automatic bid into the ITA Ohio Valley Regional.
The Matches will start on Friday with singles and doubles matches beginning around 3 p.m. It will continue throughout the weekend starting at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.Â
The Redhawks will be taking on athletes from USI, Western Illinois, SIUE, Lindenwood University, Eastern Illinois and Bryant
Last Time Out
The Redhawks opened their season hosting the First Annual Redhawk Fall Invitational on September 12-13. They hosted a round-robin style against Western Illinois, Missouri-St. Louis and Maryville University.Â
In that tournament in the singles matches
Yontha Tadoum,
Sofia Zemtsova and Mia Mayerova went 3-0 and
Kristina Kozakova added a 2-0 record.Â
In the doubles portion of the invitational,
Juliette Demunck and Tadoum teamed up for a 2-0 record, while Kozakova and Zemtsova went 2-1.
Maja Bajorek and Mayerova also went 2-1 as a duo.
Demunck continued her perfect doubles record intact with a 6-3 win with
Claudia Casas over a team from Western Illinois.Â
