CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Former Southeast Missouri wide receiver
Dorian Anderson recently signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
Anderson, who hails from Oakland, Tennessee, played two seasons at SEMO. He 81 passes for 1,137 yards and 13 touchdowns in 23 games with the Redhawks. In 2024, Anderson finished his college career with 1,011 receiving yards becoming SEMO's first receiver to get 1,000 yards in a season since 2019 (Kristian Wilkerson, 1,350).
He will once again be teammates with defensive back
Lawrence Johnson, who signed with the Argonauts on Jan. 10, 2025. Anderson and Johnson were together at SEMO during the 2023 campaign.
Johnson initially signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft.
The 2025 CFL season begins June 5.
