Home Finale
• Southeast Missouri plays host to former Ohio Valley Conference member Murray State in its final home game of the season Wednesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m., CT at the Southeast Softball Complex.

• Wednesday's matchup is SEMO's only midweek home game of the season.
• SEMO is 1-1 in midweek games with a win at Arkansas-Pine Bluff (13-0, Mar. 12) and loss at Central Arkansas (9-1, Mar. 11).
• Wednesday's game marks the end of a four-game home stand for the Redhawks.
Series Notes
• Murray State leads the overall series against Southeast Missouri, 20-14.
• MSU last played in Cape Girardeau during the 2021 season. SEMO swept the Racers in a three-game series that year.
• The Racers, however, won four of the previous five games between the teams.
• Mark Redburn is 15-17 all-time against MSU as SEMO's head coach.
OVC Series Wins
• Southeast Missouri posted series wins in six of its eight Ohio Valley Conference weekends.
• SEMO swept Western Illinois (Mar. 14-15) on the road and Morehead State (Apr. 12-13) at home.
• The Redhawks also took two of three at home vs. UT Martin (Mar. 8-9) and Southern Indiana (Apr. 26-27), at Lindenwood (Apr. 6-7) and at Tennessee Tech (Apr. 18-19) for their other series wins this year.
• In all, SEMO has 53 series wins and 41 series sweeps against OVC foes with Mark Redburn as its head coach.
Redburn Celebrates Milestone Wins
• Mark Redburn recently celebrated two milestones in his head coaching career.
• Redburn earned his 150th career Ohio Valley Conference win when Southeast Missouri beat Morehead State, 11-7, on Apr. 12.
• Six days later, Redburn picked up his 500th career victory as a head coach when the Redhawks defeated Tennessee Tech, 6-3, on Apr. 18.
• Overall, Redburn is 503-475 in 21 years as a head coach between stops at St. Charles Community College, Jefferson College, Evansville and Southeast Missouri.
• In OVC games, Redburn is 156-88 all-time.
Winkler on 10-Game Hitting Streak
• Right fielder Madison Winkler carries a 10-game hitting streak into the final week of the regular-season.
• Winkler's current hitting streak is third-longest on the team in 2025.
• She is hitting .429, with nine runs scored, three doubles, seven RBI and six stolen bases during her active hitting streak.
Strong April
• The Redhawks are 9-3 with four series wins in April.
• As a team, Southeast Missouri has 27 extra base hits this month, including 16 doubles, three triples and eight home runs.
• Pitching wise, SEMO has allowed just 2.7 runs per game in April.
• Brooklyn Saysoff is hitting .469 with nine runs scored, 15 hits, six doubles, three home runs and 16 RBI in April alone. Saysoff has reached base in 15-straight games, as well.
Eight-Straight Winning Seasons
• The Redhawks put together a winning season in eight-straight years.
• Southeast Missouri posted 30 or more victories in four of those campaigns (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022).
• The Redhawks went 29-14 overall in 2023, 28-26 in 2024 and are currently 25-13 in 2025.
• SEMO's 2020 season was shortened to 17 games (12-5) due to a global COVID-19 pandemic.
OVC Tournament Positioning
• Southeast Missouri has clinched a spot in this year's eight-team Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
• SEMO (16-7) is presently third in the standings behind Eastern Illinois (18-5) and SIU Edwardsville (17-6). The Redhawks travel to Tennessee State for their final conference games this weekend.
• The Redhawks are two games behind OVC leader EIU and one game out of second place behind SIUE.
• This year marks SEMO's 23rd OVC Tournament berth all-time and eighth under Head Coach Mark Redburn.
• The Redhawks also make their seventh OVC Tournament appearance in a row.
16 OVC Wins
• With its series win over Southern Indiana (Apr. 26-27), Southeast Missouri improved to 16-7 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
• SEMO won 16 or more OVC games for the sixth-straight season.
• The Redhawks were 19-8 in 2024, 20-2 in 2023, 16-10 in 2022, 23-6 in 2021 and 17-5 in 2019 prior to this year.
• Since 2018, SEMO has gone 126-45 against OVC foes.

• Since 2019, Southeast Missouri has won three Ohio Valley Conference championships, two OVC Tournament titles and made the NCAA Tournament twice.

• Sydney Dennis is three hits away from reaching 150 in her career.
• Dennis ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference with 57 hits through 38 games this season.
• She leads the team with 18 multiple-hit games, including eight with three hits.
• The 57 hits are Dennis' most in a season during her career.
View from the Top
• Sydney Dennis leads the Ohio Valley Conference with a .435 batting average.
• Dennis is one of only two players in the league hitting over .400 this season. Eastern Illinois' Kendall Grover (.410) is the other.
• She leads Southeast Missouri in batting average, hits (57), triples (3), runs scored (33), on-base percentage (.469) and total bases (75) through 38 games.
• Dennis struck out only five times in 131 at-bats this year.
• She ranks 33rd in the nation and second in the OVC among hitters toughest to strike out this season.

• Delaney Kell threw her team-high fifth complete games of the season when she beat Southern Indiana (Apr. 26).
• Kell is 8-3 in 17 appearances and nine starts.
• She leads the Redhawks in wins, shutouts (2), saves (1) and innings pitched (66.1).
• Kell has thrown 11 complete games in her career.
