OXFORD, Miss. - Southeast Missouri track & field posted four first place finishes and 23 top ten finishes to end the Ole Miss Classic while notching six new personal bests.
Gold Medal Mark
Molly Grohmann cleared a height of 5' 5" to take the gold medal in the high jump.
In the men's shot put
Paden Lewis achieved a distance of 58' 2.5" to stand atop the podium.
Anna Thomason claimed the 100m hurdle gold medal with a new PR time of 13.88.
In the men's 3000m
Noah Little timed in at 8:43.40 to take the trophy.
Top Three Finishes
Makenzie Williams recorded a total distance of 153' 8" in the discus to go home with the bronze.
Madelyn Gray clocked in a time of 4:42.34 to take the silver medal in the 1500m race.
Cole Reinders crossed the line at 3:48.99 to take the bronze in the 1500m.
With the second place finish
Brianna Dixon recorded a 14.23 ending time in the 100m hurdles.
Clay Alewelt chalked up a third place finish with a mark of 164' 11" in the men's discus.
Kenyon Johnson and
Luke Busateri jumped three times for a distance of 49' 7.25" and 49' 1.75" (PR).
Noteworthy Redhawks
With a mark of 130' 8"
Andreese Ortiz placed 10th in the discus.
Alewelt and
Quinton Maxwell notched marks of  49' 10.5" (4th) and 48' 2" (7th) in the shot put.
In the women's 1500m
Lauren Eftink placed ninth (4:48.46),
Layla Fliege placed 12th (4:51.50),
Mattea Pearsall placed 14th (4:52.84), and
Alayna Sparr recorded a new PR time of 4:54.36 (15th).
Both
Myles Thornburg and
Micah Grawer achieved new personal bests in 1500m with times of 4:01.25 (19th) and 4:06.51 (34th).
Clara Billing jumped over hurdles for 100m in a time of 14.99 for fifth.
In the men's 110m hurdles Marcus Gordon posted a time of 14.90 (6th) and
Luis Schadlich placed 10th (15.47).Â
Laila Hardin crossed the line at 56.92 to take sixth in the women's 400m.
Mason Clough jumped over a bar set at 6' 6" for fifth
Alaina Lester recorded an ending time of 12.20 in the 100m dash for eighth.
Fliege posts a new personal best time of 2:21.57 in the women's 800m for 10th.
Reinders ends the 800m dash in seventh with a time of 1:50.83 and
Evan Fuller ends with a PR time of 1:57.44 (24).
Sullivan Gleason vaulted over a height of 16' 1.25" in the pole vault for eight place.
After a mark of 138' 2" Maxwell was in 10th in the men's discus.
In the women's 5000m
Brooklyn Bender,
Kayla Vogelsang, and Sparr placed eighth (10:40.65), ninth (10:41.81), and 12th (PR, 10:50.78).
Garrett Dumke and
Jacob Blassingame ran the 5000m in 9:00.20 (10th) and 9:23.65 (PR, 16th).
The Women's 4x400m squad of Dixon, Hardin, Lester, and Fliege finished in fourth (3:57.35).
The men's team of
Connor Moore, Reinders, Grawer, and
Tyler Anderson ran the 4x400m in 3:18.89.
In the women's Shot Put
Baylee Beard achieved a distance of 45' 9.75" (6th, PR), Andreese posted a mark of 42' 0.75" (8th), and
Bailie Hux earned a mark of 41' 0.50" (9th).

The Redhawks will travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to take on the Pacesetter Sports Invitational Saturday, March 29th.
