Arkansas State is a totally new team execpt for their No. 1 and Coach Brooks was very impressed and said they were a very good team. "Matches in 3 court factilites are always tough to win if you don't win the doubles point but I thought we played well," Coach Brooks said.
About the Redhawks match, Coach Brooks ahd this to say, "In the middle of Lera's third set it was looking like we could pull it off. With Yontha winning her match, if Lera then wins, it comes down to who can execute under pressure. I like the Redhawks chances in that situation. Tomorrow is another tough match vs an SEC team. One day better!"
The Redhawks will be back on the road again tomorrow as they travel to Columbia, Mo to face the University of Missouri at the Mizzou tennis complex. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m., CT.
