Tennis Adds Transfer for Spring 2025

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Head Coach Steve Brooks and the Southeast Missouri Tennis team announced the signing of Claudia Casas Wednesday Morning. Casas will join the Redhawk program in the spring of 2025.
Claudia is five feet and eight and a half inches tall and is a transfer from Missouri Valley so she comes to SEMO with the eligibility of a Junior.
"I chose SEMO for its welcoming environment, where I can grow both academically and athletically. Coming from Spain, I wanted a place that balances competitive tennis, strong academics, and a supportive community," is what Claudia had to say about transferring to SEMO.
When asked what she is excited about here at SEMO Claudia had this to say, "I'm excited to represent SEMO, take on new challenges, and create lasting memories with my team!"
Claudia is from Tarragona, Spain and plans to major in business here at SEMO.
Head Coach Steve Brooks had this to say about Claudia, "I started recruiting Claudia last year. She is talented, but from a small town in Spain so she couldn't reach her full potential as a junior. I think Claudia will improve a lot here at SEMO!"
