Gieg and Norman Named to 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team

Southeast Missouri offensive lineman Zack Gieg and inside linebacker Bryce Norman were named to the 2024 Stats Perform Preseason All-America Team Monday.
Gieg earned first-team honors and Norman is a second-team selection.
A native of Morgan Hill, California, Gieg is ranked as the #4 returning offensive lineman in the FCS and best returning interior lineman in the Big South-OVC by HERO Sports. He was also rated as the #6 returning interior offensive lineman by Sports Illustrated. Gieg is a three-time First-Team All-Big South-OVC pick, as well.
Norman, who hails from nearby Jackson, is the 2024 Big South-OVC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. He garnered First-Team All-Big South-OVC honors each of the last two seasons and led the Redhawks in tackles every year he's been at SEMO. HERO Sports ranked Norman as the #8 returning linebacker in the FCS and Sports Illustrated ranked him #10.
Two-time defending FCS champion South Dakota State and fellow national powers North Dakota State, Montana and Montana State lead the way on the 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team.
All 13 FCS conferences and 60 schools are represented among the 106 All-Americans.
