KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Laila Hardin placed first during day one of the Tennessee Invite as the Redhawks notched ten top five finishes, three new personal bests, and 15 top ten performances.

Day two of the meet begins at 8:00 a.m with the men's hammer throw. The running events are slated for 12:00 p.m with the 100-meter hurdles.

Marshall Swadley recorded a throw of 153' 00" for seventh and a new personal best.

Terrico Garrett and Myles Thornburg both achieved new personal bests in the 1500m with times of 3:54.75(9th) and 4:03.96.

Top Five Performances
In the women's hammer Bailee Hux threw the hammer for a distance 161' 07" for fifth place.

Paden Lewis achieved a mark of 164' 08" (5th) in the men's discus.

Tanner Koontz and Sullivan Gleason cleared a height of 16' 0.75" for fourth in the pole vault.

Piper Klinger and Alivia Busch registered marks of 143' 10" (4th) and 142' 00" (5th) in the discus.

Clara Billing vaults over a height of 12' 7.50" for third in women's pole vault.

Jaden Kight grabbed the silver medal in the javelin throw, throwing for a distance of 147' 01".

Justin Breault chalked up a fourth place finish with a throw of 190' 11" in the men's javelin.

Momoh Brema placed 11th in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.61.

Nick Cimmarusti runs the 5000-meter in 14:53.33 (9th) for a new season best.
