CONWAY, Ark. - Southeast Missouri (1-5) claimed the doubles point and Juliette Talieu picked up a singles win in a 5-2 loss to North Texas (5-3) Thursday afternoon at the University of Central Arkansas Tennis Courts.
SEMO was victorious in the top two spots of its doubles lineup to secure the point. Daniela Hlacikova and Talieu extended their doubles streak to three wins with a 6-4 victory over Stadfany Nformi and Olivian Halvorsen at No. 1.
Trinity Calinescu and Vivian Lai also continued their winning ways defeating Lou Chalard and Lilly Schultz, 6-4, at No. 2.
Talieu took care of Nformi in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 3 singles improving to 2-2 in that position this spring.
The Mean Green won the remaining five singles points en route to their fifth win of the season. Calinescu competed at the No. 1 singles spot for the first time in her career.
SEMO faces Central Arkansas Friday.
