Taylor Fox,
Parker Feuerborn, and
Molly Grohmann all claimed OVC track & field weekly honors for their performances this past weekend at the Bulldog Invite and Bulldog Open.
Fox was selected as OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this year. The graduate student crossed the line at 4:47.81 (1st) to break the SEMO mile record at the Bulldog Invite. This marks the fourth record for the senior this season.
The Illinois native also placed first in the 800-meter at the Bulldog Open with a top OVC time of  2:10.13 ranking eighth in SEMO history.
Feuerborn was named OVC Male Field Athlete of the Week for the fourth time as well after placing first in the weight throw at both meets. The Minnesota native broke both meet records with marks of 73' 2" and 74' 6.25". The throws rank 10th and eighth in the NCAA and third and second and third in SEMO history.
Grohmann earned OVC Female Freshman of the Week for the first time in her young career. Grohmann notched a PR and a gold medal in the high jump (5' 8.75") with a jump ranked second in the OVC and sixth in SEMO history. She also jumped for a mark of 16' 11.5" (8th) in the long jump.
Fox will be competing at the Arkansas Qualifier this weekend, while Feuerborn and Grohmann will be at home participating at the Redhawks Open.Â
