Box Score CONWAY, Ark. - Southeast Missouri Tennis wraps up day two of the UCA Fall Invitational and their fall campaign with four victories. Maja Bajorek and Mia Mayerová won in doubles and Bajorek, Mayerová, and Demunck picked up single match wins.
During day two the Redhawks went 1-1 in doubles play and 3-2 in solo matches.
Solo Matches
The transfer, Kristina Kozakova, was the first Redhawk singles match of the day. Kozakova won her first set 6-4, lost the second set 3-6, and then fell in the tie break 2-10 against Sorokina from Oral Roberts.
Lera Valeeva lost her third round of singles to Tsironi from Louisiana Tech 6-1, 4-6, 9-11.
The doubles partners of Maja Bajorek and Mia Mayerová both won their singles bouts. Bajorek won in three sets against Grossmann from the University of Memphis, 1-6, 6-1, 10-4. Mayerová won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1 against Fukushima from Central Arkansas.
Juliette Demunck continued her winning ways and beat Rodrigues from Louisiana Tech 6-3, 6-4.
Doubles Action
Valeeva teamed up with Kozakova again and took on Amendola and Clemence from the University of Memphis. Valeeva and Kozakova ended up losing 5-7.Â
Bajorek and Mayerová picked up the Redhawks first doubles win of the tournament winning 6-3 against Oral Roberts Deer and Cervantes.
SEMO tennis will be back on January 17 to kick off their spring season.
