Redhawks Drop Sunday's Match at Iowa 4-0

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Southeast Missouri soccer (2-2-1) fell Sunday afternoon at Big 10-member Iowa on Sunday morning by a final score of 4-0. 
 
Goalkeeper Sophia Elfrink registered six saves in a full 90-minute shift on the morning as the Redhawks were outshot by a total of 15-0.
 
The Hawkeyes registered 10 shots-on-goal and had four different players register a goal as Iowa remained undefeated on the year (4-0-0). 
 
The loss on Sunday halted a SEMO two-match undefeated streak (1 W, 1 D). 
 
Two Redhawks played the entire 90-minute shift in defenders Natalie Jackson and Maddie Paulson.
 
SEMO will be back in action in one week as they travel to Murray, Ky. to take on the Racers. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m., CT.
