COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Paige Halliwill went 4-for-4 with two doubles, six runs scored and three RBI to lead Southeast Missouri (16-9, 9-1) to a 11-0, 9-1, doubleheader sweep of Tennessee Tech (3-28, 0-8) Saturday afternoon.
 
SEMO run-ruled TTU in both games outscoring the Golden Eagles 20-1 and holding a commanding 16-2 advantage in the hit column.
 
Ahead, 3-0, in game one, SEMO scored four more runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings to polish off its fourth shutout of the season.
 
With a run already in during the fourth, Aubrie Shore hit a three-RBI single to right center to extend SEMO's lead to 7-0.
 
Then, in the fifth, Halliwill doubled home a run and Kileigh Grisham delivered a three-RBI triple to bury the Golden Eagles for good.
 
Marisa Davis (7-1) allowed just one hit in her complete game five-inning shutout. 
 
SEMO used a five-run second inning to key its eight-run victory in the nightcap.
 
Already leading, 2-0, the Redhawks loaded the bases with no outs. Halliwill followed with a single down the right field line and both Zoe Schulte and Abigaile Rickermann scored. Kat Sackett singled home Jillian Anderson before Alyson Tucker knocked in Halliwill. Marissa Peek fouled out to right and Sackett scored to push SEMO's lead to 7-0.
 
Halliwill scored on a passed ball and Sackett scored an unearned run when Peek singled through the left side in the top of the fourth.
 
Paytience Holman (2-5), like Davis, also tossed a one-hitter. Holman struck out three, walked one and allowed just one run on one hit in five innings.
 
Shore followed close behind Halliwill with three hits for the twin bill. Meanwhile, Sackett and Anderson each scored four runs.
 
SEMO and TTU wrap up their series with one more game Sunday.
