CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri (6-2) won its home-opener with a 7-0 victory over Missouri State (4-6) Saturday at the John C. Bierk Tennis Complex.
SEMO picked up its second-straight shutout and cruised to its fifth-straight win.
The Redhawks made light work of the Bears winning all six singles bouts to key their victory.
Daniela Hlacikova remained red-hot securing her seventh-consecutive singles win. She bested Diana Cabrera, 6-3, 6-3.

Vivian Lai (No. 4) and Teona Velkosa (No. 5) also won in straight sets, while
Ksenia Shikanova (No. 3) and
Lera Valeeva (No. 6) prevailed in three-set matchups.
SEMO won in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to claim the doubles point. Ohio Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week defeated Silva Avakian and Mary Houston, 6-3 and Hlacikova and Velkoska took care of Cabrera and Alyson Piskulic, 6-3.
