#7 Redhawks Set to Face #4 SIUE in Quarterfinals Sunday
Southeast Missouri women's soccer (7-5-5, 3-3-4 OVC) will face #4 SIUE (5-6-5, 3-2-4 OVC) in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Sunday, Oct. 29, in Edwardsville, Ill. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m., CT. from Ralph Korte Stadium.Â

The Redhawks and Cougars will meet for the second time in 2023 on Sunday afternoon. SEMO won in the dying seconds of the match against SIUE in Edwardsville with
Maddie Paulson slotting the game-winner in the 89
th minute.Â

OVC First Round
SEMO advanced to the quarterfinals following Friday night's 1-0 victory over #6 Eastern Illinois.Â

Emily Baker scored the Redhawks lone goal in overtime during the 94th minute off of a pass from
Kiana Khedoo. Baker also had three shots with two of them being on target.

The Redhawks outshot the Panthers 14 to 11 in shots and six to five in shots on goal.Â

SEMO's defense held Eastern Illinois to zero shots in the first half.
